My husband Renato arrived to Dominican Republic in the late 1980s , after selling his construction company in Zurich / Switzerland to follow Columbus steps and to create a construction company here in the DR.

I came from Germany to DR to escape the cold and to work in Tourism in the Caribbean in 1992 . After falling in love with my husband and marrying here , we started together in expanding the construction company with real estate and land developments .

In 1999 we moved to Cabrera  for the construction of the Golden Dolphin Villa ….we immediately fell in love with this little town , the kindness of the locals and the beauty of its surroundings .

We stayed here and started the development of our Residence The Magic Spot , where we build different Villas and cozy homes to different nationality’s . After many years of managing different Villas here and in Cabrera...... hosting int. clientele , organizing special dinners  and being in charge of different events and activity’s I  jumped at the chance to put all my knowledge and skills into practice and create something very special – Having my husband design a unique Urban Boutique Hotel .....

Our daughter Julia and our Son Roman where both born here , Julia married in the meantime works in Tourism and management  and loves to be the creative helping hand in our hotel activities …
